Juliette Kellow, the SUBWAY® chain's nutritionist has conducted a product comparison of the Low Fat range and alternative high street lunchtime offerings, finding in some cases a saving of up to 304 calories. She says: "It's great to see a high street chain offering healthy alternatives, proving that low fat doesn't mean low taste."

Your choice of any one of the eight Low Fat Subs, identified by Subway's own healthy heart symbol, is supported by national charity Heart Research UK, who with SUBWAY®, are encouraging people to make a better choice for their heart on the high street. All of these Subs contain less than 3g fat and 1.5g saturates per 100g. In addition, if you choose to add all the salad ingredients to your choice of Sub, for no extra charge, you will get one of your five daily servings of fruit and vegetables as recommended by the Department of Health.
